This Battery Charger Solves a Problem I Didn’t Know I Had

In this video, I take a first look at the Linogy Battery Charging System and its rechargeable 1.5V Lithium-ion AA batteries. Unlike traditional Ni-MH rechargeables that run at around 1.2V, these batteries deliver a true 1.5V output, which can mean longer runtime and more consistent performance for many devices.

This smart charging station can charge up to 8 batteries at once, automatically dropping finished batteries into a built-in storage tray that holds up to 40 batteries. It supports Lithium-ion, Ni-MH, and Ni-Cd batteries, making it a flexible option if you use rechargeables across different devices.

I walk through the features, pros and cons, and my first impressions after testing it with common devices like TV remotes, wireless mice, keyboards, game controllers, handheld gaming devices, and VR headsets.

The included Lithium-ion batteries are rated at 3600 mWh and provide a true 1.5V output, which helps them behave much more like traditional alkaline batteries while still being rechargeable.

If you’re trying to reduce disposable battery waste or just want a more organized charging setup, this system has some interesting design choices worth looking at.

This product was gifted for review. As always, all opinions are my own.
